NORGES STATSMINISTER BESÖK TOMRAANLÄGGNING I SLOVAKIEN
Norges statsminister Erna Solberg besökte Tomra Produktion och distributionsanläggning vid Prologis Park Bratislava i Senec, Slovakien.
Anläggningen tillverkar sensorbaserade sorteringsmaskiner för livsmedels-, återvinnings- och gruvindustrin för TOMRA dotterföretag, TOMRA Sorting Solutions. The machines optimize resource productivity to help customers obtain more, use less and reuse resources to make the planet more sustainable.
Premiärministern åtföljdes till anläggningen av ambassadören för den slovakiska ambassaden i Norge, František Kašický, och en delegation från den norska ambassaden i Slovakien.

Over the course of the tour, TOMRA Sorting Solutions’ president and chief executive officer, Stefan Ranstrand explained how TOMRA’s powerful combination of technologies make the company one of the most advanced providers of sensor-based sorting solutions in the world, with around 10,500 of its systems installed globally.
The BREEAM certified facility, which opened in October 2014, is equipped with the latest building and manufacturing technologies and incorporates sustainable design techniques, such as LED lighting, which align with TOMRA’s vision to lead the resource revolution. Today, the facility employs more than 230 people who together produce around 1,200 sorting systems each year based on 30 different machine types.
